Competition Rules

Drawing must be by children 5 to 11 years old.

Please put your first name, age school of entry and contact information on your email.

All entries must be submitted by 9th December 2021, the winning picture will appear on Peter Heron website, all social media platforms and in Peter Heron shop window from 13th December 2021.

Terms & Conditions

£250 in cash which would need to be collected in person from the nearest Peter Heron office to your house.
A cheque for £500 to the school of the successful winner.
Competition closes Thursday 9th December 2021.
We will then post the Top 2 pictures on Instagram Friday 10th December and let the public choose their Best Christmas Drawing.
The winner’s parents/guardians/school will be informed by email.
By entering the competition, the winner and their parents/guardians will be asked to have their photo taken with Peter Heron’s Managing Director Mr Ashley O’Carroll for publication purposes.
A photo will also be taken of one of the teachers collecting the cheque from the winner’s school.
The winner will be identified by their first name, age, suburb and school only to protect their privacy.
Personal Data will not be stored beyond the closing date of the competition - unless entrants have signed up to our newsletter. Recipients may unsubscribe at any time.
Only 1 entry per child.
Entry is open to residents of Sunderland only; employees of Peter Heron and their families are prohibited from entering into the competition.
The entrants must be the age related to the prize.
Use of fake names and addresses will result in disqualification.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries being lost, damaged or delayed.
The prizes are as stated non-transferable. No alternatives will be offered.
Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or are unable to comply with the T&Cs, we reserve the right to offer it to the next eligible entrant.
Confirmation of the prize will be made to the winner’s parents/guardians/school – failure to respond may result in forfeiture of the prize where applicable.
The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into over this decision.
Winning entrants will be announced on our website Monday 13th December 2021, and their picture will feature on www.peterheron.co.uk homepage, on all social media channels and in our branch window until 3rd January 2022.
