Peter Heron’s Christmas Drawing Competition Winner 2019

Tyler Aged 7 from Barnes Junior School

Peter Heron Estate Agents have just announced this year’s winner of their Christmas Drawing Competition.

The competition was for Children living in Sunderland aged between 5 and 11 years of age.

Congratulations to Tyler Aged 7 from Barnes Junior School.

Peter Heron Estate Agents Managing Director Mr Ashley O’Carroll visited Tyler and his mother Kayley yesterday to deliver Tyler’s £250 cash prize and a cheque for £500 to Barnes Junior School Headmaster Mr Ward.

They submitted their Santa’s Grotto Drawing for the chance to have the winning drawing displayed on Peter Heron’s own website and in the windows of their High Street Branches on Fawcett Street and Fulwell’s Sea Road together with a cash prize of £250 and £500 for their school.

Peter Heron had an overwhelming response with hundreds of wonderful pictures submitted by children from all over Sunderland and Ashley O’Carroll had the difficult task of selecting this year’s Winner which was announced by video via this website and across social media channels.

Ashley tells us, “My lettings Manager Victoria Simm came up with the idea of holding a drawing competition for local school children in the Sunderland area and although it was pushed out there very quickly and we didn’t think we’d get much of a response; we couldn’t believe how many entries we had in such a short space of time! Just goes to show how much Christmas isn’t just about Xbox consoles and Nintendo Switches and it’s just magical to be on the receiving end of so many kids imaginations and how those treasured memories we hold from being Kids ourselves, reflect in today’s Children. Some of the pictures were so thoughtful and cheerful!” We’d love to do the same competition next year but we’ll roll it out much earlier and on a grander scale, with more than just one prize! Thank you to everyone who entered and for all teams support at Peter Heron who made this possible!”
