Peter Heron Estate Agents have just announced this year’s winner of their Christmas Drawing Competition.

The competition was for Children living in Sunderland aged between 5 and 11 years of age.

Congratulations to India Best and St Marys RC Primary School.

Peter Heron Estate Agents, PA to Managing Director, Mrs Ruth Flatman visited St Marys School yesterday to deliver prizes to India Best and headmaster Mr Clephane.

They submitted their Christmas Drawing for the chance to have the winning drawing displayed on Peter Heron’s own website and in the windows of their High Street Branches on Fawcett Street and Fulwell’s Sea Road together with a cash prize of £250 and £500 for their school.

Peter Heron had an overwhelming response with wonderful pictures submitted by children from all over Sunderland and the top 2 pictures chosen by the Peter Heron team were put to vote via Instagram and the winner was announced via the website and across social media channels.

Ruth tells us, “After the year we have all had we are glad to bring some joy to the children of Sunderland and to help a school after these challenging times during the pandemic.  The drawings we received were wonderful, the children did an excellent job and it was really tough decision to pick the top 2. India Best’s winning drawing was festive and cute and we can see why it won the hearts of the voters!  Thank you to everyone who entered and voted.”
