The name Peter Heron has been well known for estate agency in Sunderland for over 50 years. Peter was a partner with the respected estate agency Wallhead, Gray and Coates before setting up his own agency in 1990. His vision for an estate agency that could be trusted to offer in-depth local knowledge and expertise alongside good old fashioned customer service has long been realised. Today, as well as being the figure head for the company, Peter is a well respected chartered surveyor and continues to oversee the surveying arm of the business.

Ashley O'Carroll BSc MNAEA - Partner

Peter’s Nephew Ashley joined the company in 1996 and became a Partner in the business in 2000. He brought with him a fresh, modern, progressive approach to estate agency which combined with Peter’s traditional and personal style created the forward thinking company we have established today. Ashley manages the business with a hands approach, personally valuing, inspecting and reviewing all property transactions. Ashley continues to build on our strong reputation and develop the business to be proactive and forward thinking yet does not lose sight of the commitment to family values and dedication to customer service as we grow.

Rebecca Boyd MNAEA - Fawcett Street Branch Manager

Sunderland born Rebecca has worked for Peter Heron for over 16 years and has developed her property experience over this time and currently manages the prominent City Centre branch at Fawcett Street. Having lived in Sunderland for all of her life, Rebecca is ideally placed to give advice and guidance on all aspects of living in the local area. She plays an active role in developing and motivating the team to ensure that everyone who buys, sells or lets their property with Peter Heron experiences great customer service and benefits from our property expertise. Rebecca is also a qualified member of National Association of Estate Agents and continually strives to develop her knowledge of the property market in Sunderland

Becky Fenwick MNAEA MARLA - Sea Road Branch Manager

Becky joined the company after moving from the South of England, she brought with her over 8 years experience in both sale and lettings and quickly fitted into life in Sunderland getting to know the landscape and the characteristics of the area. Becky manages the busy Sea Road branch in Fulwell to the North of the river and works hard to ensure that she and the team get to know their customers so they can efficiently and effectively handle their property needs. Becky is also a qualified member of National Association of Estate Agents and Association of Residential Lettings Agents.

Sancha Partington - Lettings Manager

Sancha manages the busy lettings service and overseas the teams based at both offices. Sancha works closely with landlords to bring her expertise and knowledge of the lettings market in Sunderland and is hands on in matching the right tenants to properties and working hard to develop good working relationships.
