Peter’s Nephew Ashley joined the company in 1996 and became a Partner in the business in 2000.  He brought with him a fresh, modern, progressive approach to estate agency which combined with Peter’s traditional and personal style created the forward thinking company we have established today.  Ashley manages the business with a hands on approach, personally valuing, inspecting and reviewing all property transactions.  

Ashley continues to build on our strong reputation and develop the business to be proactive and forward thinking yet does not lose sight of the commitment to family values and dedication to customer service as we grow.

As we are a family business in Sunderland built on traditional values, customer service is really important to us. That is why every Peter Heron customer is appointed a dedicated property consultant who will build good working relationships and keep you up to date with any progress. Your consultant will liaise with other team members and the relevant professionals to support every stage of your property transaction. Ashley and his wife Sancha will have hands-on involvement and oversee all activity too.

Our Roots Are In Sunderland

Director Ashley O'Carroll and his family live in the City of Sunderland and he is proud to represent his valued clients in all property related matters.

All other members of the Peter Heron team also live and work within the City and rely on their own local knowledge and experience to provide valued insight into the different suburbs of the Sunderland.

Their ties and connections within the local community benefit each and every Peter Heron client. From sales to property management or whether it's a decorator, builder or utility service their clients need, or even if it is just to know what's going on in the city or information on local amenities such as schools, restaurants, shops etc our team would be more than happy to draw on their own local knowledge, expertise and contacts to help.
